Karen grew up in a suburb of Portland, Oregon and began riding and showing American Saddlebreds when she was nine years old. Horses had been a life long passion for Karen, even after she left the show world. A few years ago Karen purchased The Spirit Of Yorktown, a five-gaited Saddlebred gelding, and returned to the ring after a 30 year absence. Karen came to find showing a more fun and rewarding experience now than it was when she was younger. Outside of the horseworld, Karen's the published author of a novel titled, "Silent Partner."

Melanie Peterson-Ramey is a seasoned agent with more than 30 years’ experience in the equestrian industry as a professional trainer and real estate advisor specialising in equestrian estates. Joining C. Jarvis Insurance in 2015, Melanie is able to offer yet another service to her extensive clientele around the country. Using her personal experience owning a horse farm, many horses, and a successful equestrian business, Melanie is able to guide her clients through the process of obtaining the appropriate insurance to navigating any occurrences that may arise in their day to day operations.

Originally from Katonah, New York, Melanie and her husband split their time between their home in Wellington where she is active in her community. She has served on many volunteer boards and is the past Vice Chair of the Governing Board and Chair of the Project and Lands Committee of the South Florida Water Management District. Melanie is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography / Environmental Resource Analysis and has a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) certificate.

A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Talia Lydick grew up riding horses at her family ranch and in many of Fort Worth's finest parks. Talia has bred, shown, and sold horses for her entire life. She has liquidated breeding herds, and has even judged all breed schooling competitions. One of Talia's greatest talents is coaching young and adult riders all the way to the national championships.
Talia's strong work ethic and powerful communication skills have assisted her work for some of the most prestigious Arabian farms in the world. As a horsewoman that truly loves every aspect and discipline of the business, no matter breed or division, Talia provides the utmost service to her clients. Jenny has been a horse enthusiast all of her life. She was born and raised in Wisconsin but moved to sunny California right after her nuptials. Their honey moon included trailering 2 horses over 2000 miles. She now has 3 wonderful boys and proudly says, “Yes. They were raised in a barn!”
Jenny has trained, showed and has been breeding horses for over 20 years. She has also bred and raised a stallion who was approved for breeding with the Holsteiner and Westfalen Verband.

Anthony grew up in Northern Indiana, where he still resides with his family. His upbringing was filled with the presence of horses on their property. Taking after his father, he fell in love with the Morgan breed at a very young age. He has been an accountant since the age of 19. He has taken his love of horses and his career in accounting and merged them as he works mostly for Standardbred and Morgan horse farms. He is excited to take his involvement to a whole new level as an Equine Insurance Agent at C. Jarvis Insurance Agency.
Katherine has been a horse lover all her life, starting with an Appaloosa pony and then on to Arabians and American Saddlebreds.
