Kathleen Bailey

Equine Department

Kathleen has been an avid equestrian for over 25 years, focusing on mainly Arabian show horses. At the young age of 4, she started off riding and showing Country Pleasure on TWH’s. From there, she grew very fond of the Arabian horses. She was in 4H for many years and showed several class A and Cosca shows. She competed locally in everything from English, costume, western, driving, to barrels and trail classes.

Over the last 8 or so years, she has just been riding for pleasure. Anything from trail riding to learning how to rope, cow sort, and even some mounted shooting.

Kathleen has her own boarding farm as well as a long history of rescuing and rehabbing kill bound horses.

Horses have always been a huge part of her life, and she is excited to be able to apply her knowledge here at Jarvis!
